
The Village of Melton Constable
Melton Constable is a village and civil parish in North Norfolk (OS reference TG042331) covering an area of 6.96 km2 (2.69 sq mi) with, at the time of the 2011 Census, a population of 618. It falls within the auspices of North Norfolk District Council.

The Parish Council is made up of members who all live in Melton Constable and represent the village on various matters. We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.

The Parish Council is responsible for:

general maintenance around the village

Audit
As the payments and receipts of the Parish Council for 2019-20 are both under £25,000, the Parish Council has declared itself exempt from external audit for this period. All audit documents are published on the Documents page.

COVID-19 AND PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS
Due to the current situation, the Annual Parish Meeting, due to be held on 29th April, will not be held this year. All Parish Council meetings will be held on Zoom until guidelines allow public meetings again.
